“The Ultimate Kitchen” was a favorite, since we all spend so much time in the kitchen.  In this segment, Writer Kristin Schmitt and Project Editor Linda Eggerss explain how a carefully planned layout can accommodate a family’s varying schedules and help keep your busy family on track. “In The Zone” = Task-specific spaces that are key players in a family’s day-to day- hustle. The players are: feed, gather, host, work and enter. Perfectly stated – right? Designated areas stay more organized and within a short amount of time, the entire family knows what goes where and they will be more inclined to put things back in their designated space.

The Kitchen Spaces segment helps identify untapped storage potential, streamline access to your important herbs and spices, keep pantries and kitchen cabinets clutter-free, and optimize your kitchen’s storage capacity by pointing you towards storage and organizational products that are both functional and fashionable.

If you need some “Corner Logic“, this espresso-stained fruitwood corner shelf  collapses and folds flat for space-saving storage when not in use.

Creating “The Ultimate Kitchen” can be a challenge, but taking it one step at a time and following simple project steps can be manageable and rewarding. Great job BHG Storage.

How adorable are these Heart Shaped Button Covers?  Kids will have fun helping mom get in the Valentine’s Day mood and these fun little crafts are ultra-affordable.

Martha has put together several great ideas for kids; some of my favorites are the Valentine’s Day Sign Card, Hand-Shaped Valentines, Heart-and-Lollipop Flowers, and these Heart-Shaped Soaps are just too cute to pass up.
